Going skiing or snowboarding this winter? Download trail maps from your favourite ski resorts to your iPhone and use the built-in GPS to find your way around the slopes or track your activities.

The best thing is that you dont need an active internet connection, just download the maps youll need in advance and everything you need on the slopes is right there on your iPhone. If you do have an internet connection available however, you can display webcams from Windy.com on the piste maps or check the weather forecast at your favourite resort.

SkiMaps is now also available on iPad, a great tool for making plans for your next trip!

Works well. Easy to find your location on the actual resort map.

This is the only app with maps that you can actually read - clearly. When I initially bought the app a couple of weeks ago, the developer promptly responded to my inquiry about a map for Keystone. Worked great on the slopes - good GPS locator too. Highly recommended!

Some bad moments

bought this app yesterday. it starts, but when i try to download a map by clicking "+", no one is avaible. NO one. waste of money.

The idea of the app is good because it will be great to have instead the classic map the skipass office give you. The main issue is that there is a huge luck of italian ski resort on both Alps and Appenini. And, during all the season they never made an update, think about it before buy the app.

Im going to Mayrhofen. So i bought this app. There are only France and Canada... Not much!

Bought this thinking sun valley must be on it.. Wasted my money.
